The first time you power on yourheadset, it begins the pairing process.1Switch your headset on. You will see the headsetindicator lights flash red and blue. Then put yourheadset on. You will hear "Pairing."GET PAIRED 2Activate Bluetooth® on your phone and set it to searchfor new devices.•iPhone Settings > Bluetooth > On*•Android Settings > Bluetooth: On > Scan for devices**Menus may vary by device.3Select “PLT V5200 Series.”If necessary, enter four zeros (0000) for the passcodeor accept the connection.Once successfully paired, indicator lights stop flashingand you hear "pairing successful"1Ensure NFC is on and your phone’s display isunlocked. (Phones may vary.)2Tap and hold the headset to the phone’s NFC taglocation until NFC pairing completes. If necessary,accept the connection.NOTE The headset’s NFC tag is located on the left face of theheadset. (Phone tag locations vary.)NFC PAIRINGAfter pairing your headset to your phone you maywant to pair a new phone or tablet.1Switch on your headset and press and hold the Call button until you hear "Pairing."2While the headset LEDs are flashing red and blue,activate Bluetooth on your phone and set it to searchfor new devices.3Select “PLT V5200 Series.”If necessary, enter four zeros (0000) for the passcodeor accept the connection.Once successfully paired, indicator lights stop flashingand you hear "pairing successful."PAIR ANOTHER DEVICE1Slide headset over and behind your ear, then pressgently toward your ear.NOTE Remove your eyeglasses before donning the headsetfor best fit.2Rotate microphone boom until it is pointed towardyour mouth.3Boom swings up and down for a better fit.2 31DON HEADSETChange the eartip for a better fit.1Push in eartip and rotate to the left to unlock it.1222Align new eartip into slot; push, rotate to the rightand lock into place.FIT To wear the headset on your other ear, rotate theboom upwards then twist it around so the eartip is onthe other side before lowering the boom.321Answer a call•Say "answer" after call is announced, or•Tap the Call  button.Reject a call•Say "ignore" after call is announced (smartphoneonly), or•Press the Call   button for 2 seconds.End a call•Tap the Call  button.Redial last call•Double-tap the Call   button.OVERVIEW voiceMute the microphone during a call•Tap the red button to  mute. You will hear “mute on”or “mute off.” An alert repeats every 15 minutes whenmute is on.Voice control (Siri, Google Now, Cortana)•Press and hold the red button for voice   control. Aseries of tones will indicate the voice control is active.Play or pause streaming audio•Press and hold the Call  button 1 second to eitherpause or resume playback.Smart sensors in this headset recognize if the headsetis being worn and can automatically perform time-saving functions.Putting on your headset will:•Answer an incoming call• Transfer an active call from your phone• Resume streaming audioTaking off your headset will:• Transfer an active call to your phone•Pause streaming audio•Lock the Call button to avoid accidental callsUSE SENSORSYou may need to reset the sensors if they are notworking as expected.•Wearing the headset, tap the Call   button to testsensors. A talk time voice alert means sensors areworking. A tone means sensors need to be reset.•To reset the sensors, connect the headset to acharger or directly to your computer's USB port andplace it on a flat non-metallic surface for more than10 seconds.RESET SENSORSFirmware updates are designed to keep your headsetcurrent with the latest technology.
